About Our Speaker: Dr. Christian Custodio received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation followed by a one year fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology (Electromyography), both at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Dr. Custodio is an Associate Attending Physiatrist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and holds an academic appointment of Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is the Program Director of the MSKCC Cancer Rehabilitation Fellowship, and also serves as the Rehabilitation Medicine Education Director for all rotating fellows, residents, medical students, and observers.

Review the technical features of the ultrasound machine and how to set up a knee study.
Learn normal and abnormal structures look like under MSK-US in normal and pathologic states, including joints, tendons, ligaments and bones
Learn how to perform common ultrasound guided injections.
Obtain hands-on scanning practice and learn standardized scanning protocols
8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Registration
9:00 AM – 11:45 AM: Lecture with live demonstration and hands-on practice
Knee US Anatomy & US findings of Common shoulder Pathologies
All Participants will be divided into 5 groups, which will rotate through different workstations. Each participant will receive 1:1 hands-on training with each stations preceptor
11:45 PM – 12:00 PM: Wrap-up/Discussion
