Physician Advocacy Network Meeting Friday 5/20 at 5pm
To Delegates, MSSNY Leaders, and Guests of the HOD,
We are excited for the opportunity to gather together once again at the 2022 MSSNY House of Delegates. As you’ve come to expect, the leaders of MSSNYPAC will host an advocacy networking meeting on Friday, May 20 from 5-6pm at the Westchester Marriot (670 White Plains Road, Tarrytown, NY 10591). Please join us!
We’ll provide an overview of the current legislative and political climates in Albany and Washington, highlight our recent legislative victories, outline the challenges ahead through the end of the legislative session and into the general election in November. We will cover collective political action by physicians (PAC), grassroots activities (GAC) and the physician advocacy liaison program (PAL) and their correlation to the policies developed during MSSNY’s House of Delegates.
Resolutions that become MSSNY policy very often require legislative or regulatory action. The advocacy efforts we collectively employ effectuate the healthcare policy outcomes that are ultimately codified. Please make every effort to join us for this important exchange. Refreshments will be served.
To the extent that hotel technology will support, we are offering in-person, zoom and phone-in options for maximum participation.
Attendance options:
- In-Person: Sleepy Hollow & Pocantico Suites
- Zoom: Join HOD Advocacy Networking Meeting (please register for more information)
Save time at the PAC Booth and help your section delegation reach 100%! Donate in advance of the meeting at www.mssnypac.org or call 914-933-7722 for personal assistance.
