
Congratulations to Dr. Antigone Argyriou, Recipient of the 2026 PM&R Awareness and Value Award
The New York Society of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (NYSPMR) congratulates Antigone Argyriou, MD, FAAPMR, on receiving the 2026 PM&R Awareness and Value Award from the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R).
Dr. Argyriou is a double board-certified physiatrist in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine and practices at Spine Medicine and Surgery of Long Island. She completed her PM&R residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident, followed by fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine.
This recognition honors her dedication to advancing the visibility, influence, and value of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, as well as her contributions to leadership, advocacy, and physician education.
Dr. Argyriou will be recognized alongside the other 2026 award recipients during the AAPM&R 2026 Annual Assembly in Orlando.
