CHS Mercy Hospital Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Opportunity
Position Highlights:
-Primary responsibilities: Acute inpatient rehab coverage and acute care consults for rehab placement
-Optional expansion into outpatient and/or SNF settings
-Supervision and teaching of PM&R residents
-Long-term leadership/administrative advancement available
About the Rehab Unit:
-37-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation unit
-Diverse case mix: orthopedic, neuro, SCI, amputee, medically complex
-Strong on-site support: Internal Medicine and specialty care available 24/7
-PM&R residents assist with care delivery on the unit throughout the week
Compensation & Benefits:
-Competitive base salary + productivity bonus ($240K–$300K+)

Qualifications:
-MD/DO with NY medical license (or willing to obtain)
-BC/BE in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
-Prior acute inpatient rehab experience preferred, but not required
-Strong communication skills and ability to work within interdisciplinary team
-Interest in teaching is a plus – new grads welcome!
Also Hiring Per Diem Coverage: Weekend and holiday coverage shifts available year-round for acute rehab and consult services.
