Target Audience:
This course is focusing on Billing and Coding relevant to the field of PM&R. It is designed for Attending Physicians, Fellows and Residents. Students are welcome.

Vanessa Best, is an award-winning medical billing specialist. Ms. Best has 20 years of medical office experience in all areas from claims processing to full-service medical practice management. Ms. Best is a Certified Coder, credentialed through the American Academy of Professional Coders and the American Health Information Management Association. In addition, she is a member of the National Association of Female Executives.
Course Objectives:
This will be an interactive session where the audience will have the chance to ask questions and learn about billing and coding fundamentals, how to avoid inefficient/incorrect information entries, documentation elements required for a certain billing level, major changes with the new ICD-10, as well as some general compensation figures for consultation/ follow up notes/ common procedures (ultrasound procedures/office based injection procedures/ EMG/NCS, etc).
Cost:
