A film about love, intimacy, and the human bond within the disabled community. A journey into the lives of 17 very unique people; some with disabilities and the partners who love them, others struggling to get by in a world that seems to often overlook them. In exploring the confidence and unconditional love that these humans have for themselves and each other, you may begin to question your own notions on life, love, and what it means to really feel in every sense of the word.

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR DONORMrs. Wathne was born in Iceland into a distinguished family of judges and political leaders. After suffering a severe injury while traveling abroad, Mrs. Wathne spent time at the Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Center. She won the hearts and minds of all of us who were involved in her care by her great courage, hard work, kindness, and personal charm. Fortunately, she again became able to walk and be self-sufficient again through her own hard work and with the help of our professional staff. After her passing in February 2007, her daughters generously established this lectureship in her name. This has enabled us to invite outstanding scientists and clinicians to present on the cutting edge treatments to improve the lives of people with disability.
