ACTIVITY OVERVIEW:
The Multidisciplinary Management WorkshopTM will provide opportunities to improve your confidence and proficiency in identifying muscle groups and performing techniques required for chemodenervation procedures such as ultrasound guidance. The workshop will feature Kinesthetic Training Sessions covering ultrasound scanning and guidance with phantoms; injection training with anatomical models (ELVIS; ELVIRA; ELISE; DASEY; SAIDIE); and toxin “draw up”. The workshop also includes expert led patient injection demonstrations to show ultrasound-guided chemodenervation procedures.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
This activity is intended for neurologists, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, residents, fellows, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physical therapists, and occupational therapists who treat patients with spasticity and movement disorders.
